First of all thanks to all who have helped me so far as to giving me tips on my outboard. I recently took my boat to the lake and fired it up, let it idle and then took off, the motor sounded like a smoker gasping for air. I took it to the shop and 3 hours later was told all I did was flooded it, and that it was good to run. Took it out today (Monday) idled it up and couldn't even get it to hold its idle, popped off the cover and held the throttle down to insure it wasn't flooded, it ran really good but as soon as I let the throttle loose it died. Then I had troubles getting it started. Any ideas? My thought was the fuel line or the carb. If it is the carb do ya have any ideas?
