Hi all
just another question. My engine is a J90LT (90 hp V4 VRO). I have the manual instruction but I don't know which is the correct drawing (1984 or 1985). On the motor documentation is write 1985 and the VRO pump haven't any wire.
When you start the motor, you hear some horn? The temperature warning horn is inside the throttle box, in the engine or in the panel.
I have only the rpm gauge (OMC) is correct?
Please can you help me?
THank you very much

Re: Johnson J90LT information

The warning horn is in the control box Ciao.

Check the VRO pump again. The original pumps had no warning alarms for the operator. The newer pumps do. The wire harness comes off the back of the pump.

If you do not find a wire harnes coming from your VRO, I would strongly suggest that you either replace the pump with a new up to date pump with alarms or disconnect the oil side of the pump and use premix fuel.

If you would post the complete model number, we can tell you the year.
