Maybe the spaghetti seal out of a newer seal kit such as Sierra #18-2686 would work. If it's long enough it could be cut to length. Also an industrial bearing supplier may sell it by the foot.

There is no spaghetti seal in a HD. Gaskets are 0300585 (lower) and 0300586 (upper). Or do like everybody else and make your own from gasket material.
