I have a 1988 Johnson gt 200 that has no spark. It s been really hard to diagnose cause some times it runs normal, but some times you may only get 10 feet and it will die or maybe 3 miles and die but usually will fire right back up. This has been happening for 3 yrs now last year it ran normal. I did some testing on thurs and I had spark on all but there was one that was weak compared to rest but when the engine started it was as strong as rest. Decided on the weekend to try again now have no spark on all cyl. I read that if you unplug the big red connector and jump the starter that would tell you if the wire or kill switch is faulty but still have no spark. Any ideas anybody???
