I recently got a boat with what I believe is a 1992 Johnson 120hp outboard. It seems in very nice condition and former owner says he never had an issue with it at all, it is oil injected.
My concern is whether this is the Ficht system or not, and if so, would it say on the cowling?
It doesn't so I am hoping its a regular tried and true system, but, if it is, then what do I need to do if anything?.

Second question, does anyone have a link or number for the proper impeller for this engine? Seems a long shaft.
Thanks,

That engine is not a Ficht. There is a big difference between being "oil injected" and "fuel injected". Yours is oil injected and has carbs. A strong, reliable engine in it's day. The factory exploded parts diagram for the gearcase shows the impeller for your engine. Check out this website: epc.brp.com. Find your engine from the list. The old part number 395864 has been superceded to 5001593. If you need the whole kit, which includes a new impeller housing, the original number 395062 supercedes to 5001594. If you are ever going to do much maint. by yourself, it's a good idea to get a genuine factory service manual: outboardbooks.com is the original publisher for all Johnson/Evinrude publications.
