Does anyone know at what temperature the warning switch closes on a 1985 50 hp Johnson ?

I don't know for sure but i would think 190-195.

Good question, would it be about the same on a 50 hp 97 rude too?

Thermostat appx 140 F
Overheat alarm appx 180 F
Same for most every latemodel OMC
