i have a 1989 48 special. it runs like a top starts up real easy and can troll all day without a sputter we rebuilt the carbs and put new plugs in it. it runs at 1`400 rpm,s when it is in neutral in the water. when i put it in gear it drops down to 1100.i have 3/4 17 prop on it .at top speed with 2 people it is going 30 mph on the gps.it runs like brand new but i can,t get the idle down. what should the idle be in gear at low speed?
