Hi everyone.. Im so glad I found this Forum.. <br />I just got my first small boat.. the engine have not been started for 2 years.. Johnson 40.. last owner said there is nothing wrong with it.. before I get gas and battery.. what should I do.?<br />Thank you

What year motor is it, if it's newer that 1965 you need to use 50:1 mix, get a battery put it in the water and make sure the waterpump is working if so get in the thing and have fun. (don't forget the beer)

Thanks for the replay.. I think is newer than 65.. the boat is 69.. I will check and give it a try.. Thanks for your help.. oh.. no I wont forget the beer.. one on your honor.. jeje
