Johnson 40 electrical problems

I have a 92 Johnson 40 hp that has electrical problems. The engine starts and runs fine until it reaches certain rpm and then it looses horse power. During the past three week we have change two power packs. strator, timer base and last week the flywheel to no avail. Any suggestions?

why do you believe its electrical and not the possibility of a dirty carb,or fuel filter

When it quit did you check spark? Will pumping the primer bulb make it stay running? Is the tank vent working? What do you have to do to get it restarted?
