It is a good idea to keep everything in one thread.<br />The crack in the coils means that you should replace them both, preferably with the points and condensers while you have the thing open.That way you dont have to get back in there next week.<br />Good luck.
Hi Mark,<br />You said you took the flywheel top off.Is this the metal flap on the flywheel? You need to pull the whole flywheel off.<br /> Replace both coils,put in a tuneup kit,renew the plug wires....... And you have a complete new ignition system on your 3 HP! <br />DHP
