I have a 1959 Johnson super seahorse 35hp outboard and the #1 cylinder had water in it for a while and is rusted. What other power-heads will fit on this lower housing and years? Will Evinrude power-head swap with Johnson? Thanks

Yes, Evinrude and Johnson are the same. The 1958 Evinrude Lark and Johnson Super Sea Horse powerheads will be a direct swap. NOT the 1958 "Standard models though.
1960-up 40hp powerheads will also fit and bolt up, but you will run into design changes that will challenge you. Better avoid those unless you know what you will encounter.

Best to go with one of the " hot air choke " models up to 1970.-----Some wiring changes may have to be done.
