Yes I know what the carburetors look like on those motors.---Have a bunch of those motors for parts.------Perhaps YOU need to look into the adjustment of those mixture screws.

will adjusting low mixture do any difference to high reving, I thought it wouldnt, so I havnt tried. Last time I was working with motors was on my moped some 20 years ago So my knowledge is very limited. Is there a basic setting to start with?

I am suggesting to you to adjust the low speed mixture needles to cure bogging.--I can not help it if you do not understand why that should be done !!

i am learning as we go I truly appreciate your help and patience. Hopefully I can give it a try tomorrow

From a mechanic who helped me with the tilt. He said his dad had one but sold it after his first fishing trip, replaced it with a mercury. the mechanic told me these 3 cyl omc are troublesome. He is on vacation now, otherwise he would help me with this. My vacation starts tomorrow and I want the boat to function asap so I cant wait for him to be back home
