JOhnson 33 1/2 hp motor

I have an old Johnson 33 1/2 hp motor. I am not sure of the year, but its on a 1978 boat. I was wondering what year it may be and what park plugs should it use. It currently has Champion JC6 plugs in it I think. I went to an Autoparts store and they had no listing for them. I would like to change them and dont know what to get tks

1967, but I think you wrote your serial number wrong. Check again.

I checked the number again and I show it as J2736310<br /><br />What number is incorrect???
