my 1999johnson model j25tel3ss is occasionally over oiling. So much that it smokes bad and stalls. I know it is a oil injection problem because it really sucks the oil. I explained the problem to a johnson dealer and he informed me that he has seen this problem before and "they" recommend removing the oil tank and pump, doing away with the injection system. I would need to mix oil and fuel in the tank and I suppose this might work alright. I just don't care for the idea. I should have stuck with a simple two cylinder motor. Can anyone offer ideas.
