johnson 25 hp motor probem

I have a 25hp motor tha just started acting up. When i rev the engine therop seems to be slipping< Its moving just not as fast as its supposed to> any suggestions

If it has worked before;you probably have a spun hub.Put an indeleble mrk across the hub and run the boat check to see if the mark lines up.
