Hey Guys!
I'm not sure what genius said "hey let's make carb bowls plastic and shove bb's in the hole.".. But I have a steady stream of gas out of that port. I think it's a common problem. But to clarify on the side of the Carb Float Bowl there are little brass balls blocking a hole. From what I can tell the common practice is simply to replace the Bowl.
Is there any reason I can't just fill them with JBWeld?

If I need to replace the bowls will I have to do a rebuild or is it just a bolt on part? I hate Carbs, seems like I have a talent of take a kinda working carb and make it a completely worthless carb.

I've always replaced them. Not too difficult but I've done it many times so am biased. As a general rule when replacing carb bowls on any carb, make sure you remove the orifices from old bowls and put in the new.

If the BB is still in place you can tap it in just a tad with a small punch and seal with nail polish. Fixed dozens this way..
