Hello, I have a Johnson Seahorse 140, Motor Model: J140TLCIM
This motor won't go up and down and I have been trying to figure it on and off for awhile now. The motor for tilting seems to function correctly and was tested properly. We filled in some oil and it worked for a short time and then quit again. We decided that the oil had to be replaced and on attempting to drain the oil it appeared to be foamy as if there was air in the system.
My questions are, what is the proper way to drain the oil from the tilt mechanism and what type of oil must be used in this system?
