Resistances are ALWAYS checked with no power to the circuit. In this case, with the engine off and NOT turning over.
DVA checks are done with the engine running, or if it won't run, turning over with the starter motor.
Did you disregard the advice to use a timing light and look into it, checking for erratic sparking cylinder? You could pinpoint a bad cylinder real easy....

No, I have not ignored any of the advice given on this matter. I just haven?t had a chance to try any of it, but I am planning to work on it this weekend and wanted to ask any question before I started. I will post my results a.s.a.p. and we can go from there. I greatly appreciate all the help and advice I have received.

Ok, I have done all my troubleshooting tests.. and everything checks out normal. I have triple checked the results but the cylinder is still not running, it has spark and fuel, what else can I check? thanks

Reeds, if compression is on par and you have spark and timing the only thing left is fuel delivery. If a reed is stuck open or isn't adjusted properly that one plug would be somewhat fouled. You state you cleaned the carbs so that rules out the carb side.

Dirty or clogged jet? Maybe the fuel is not atomizing properly.

Reeds looked ok, but I replaced them anyway Since I had it apart. Rebuilt Carbs for the third time just to make sure, I borrowed a timer base, Power pak, stator and flywheel off of another motor just to see if it would change anything Still no change. checked fuel pump, it seems ok compression is still 100+ on all cylinders and still has spark and fuel to all cylinders...any other Ideas???????? it's got me stumped!!!!
