johnson 115 wont turn over

my starter wont turn over, what should i look for first?.. looks like all the connections are good, it started fine earlier today and then wouldent work after i stopped in the middle of the lake......

First check the inline fuse coming off the battery, 20 AMP I believe.

I agree check the fuse. Then make sure youve got power to your solenoid. Then check the solenoid.

i know this is a very vague question, but i was looking for a fuse and couldnt find one.... where might it be located? close to battery, controles or motor?

Check near the battery.

Also check one of the wires going to the solenoid..the smaller ones..not the battery cables..there may be one there....on the engine...
