Hi All Can Any Body Help, I Shipped A 190 Ccf Wellcraft From Usa To Uk Last Year & The Engine Will Start Ok But When We Go For A Drift & Restart We Have Problems, Tried New Plugs Etc But Still Happening Can Any Body Help???

What sort of problems, also, what year is the motor? Model #?

Sorry The Problem With Starting Is That After A Few Miles When We Stop For Say 2-5 Mins We Turn Key & It Takes Upto 4-5 Times With Or With Out Throtle To Start Again , I Have Been Told To Use 100-1 Mix ??

use 50 : 1 mix, if you want that motor to last. OMC, recalled 100:1 years ago. too many burnt up powerheads.

have you tried using the primer (pushing in on the key) when you try to start? could just be the idle speed is set too low.

know not after it has been running for a while thanks, so stick to 50-1, can you tell me which way the red switch has to point on top of the choke thing on engine ,,, sorry new at this??????

I have the same boat and engine. I also had issues w/ the idling and starting. I tried many different additives. The best one is seafoam. If you can get some add a few cans into the tank. One can treaks 8 to 24 gallons. I use one can per 8 gallons. With this the boat cranks right up and idles well.
Make sure to use 50:1 mix.
