Jason what type of drain sleeve with plug did you use in the bottom of your transom? I removed the brass type from my boat and would like to know if there are any more options. I have heard that they make a screw on sleeve. Where did you purchase your drain and plug. mine has two drains one at the top and one at the bottom of transom.<br /><br />thanks

I went ahead and used the brass sleave again. I cut it about 3/16 long, and used plenty of 3M 5200 along its entire outer circumference. I then used a 1/4 socket extension and a hammer and tapped over the edge, alternating back and forth until the edge was flat with the surrounding glass. It sealed fine on both lower and splashwell plug. I didn't want to mess with changing styles, I like the sleave kind anyway. It is larger, so water comes out quicker and debris comes out better than with the thread type...
