This Winter Might Be Time to remove the Deck of My 1995 Sunbird Odyssey and dive in.
I want to ask before I do this. Has Anyone Here Removed the Deck of a Flat Deck Boat?
Just Looking for pointers, Thanks in advance!

Take alot of pictures and notes. Keep hardware separated in ziplocks so you know where it goes. Buy alot of beer and allot 3 times what you think it will take. Then just start removing parts.

Sounds Good. Hope to get it done over the winter. Splash is set for April 2023, Of Course that's a Pipe Dream.
I did have problems with Fuel this year so I have wasted time with that issue, although it seems to be better now.
sometime this week I will test drill the transom, Hoping I won't have to repair that!

If you look at some of these restos, they started out with great ambition and tight timelines.....right up until they found out there were other issues lurking which required addressing.

So....I would be very, very flexible with timelines starting any kind of project. If you have my kind of luck, god help ya. A simple 10 min project can become 3 hours and multiple hardware store trips for me.

21ft Thompson, strip to bare hull, Complete rebuild with a few modifications. Complete overhaul of all mechanicals and complete rewire. Pretty big project.

Yes, That's a Big Project. I wish I knew what is under the deck of mine. taking the "Cap" off is going to be rough, 21' x8' Deck is not going to be easy!

Brian, I see you have watched me working on my cars!

I pulled the cap on my 19 ft boat amd it wasnt too bad. Build a stand, separate the cap from the hull and slide in four long (10 ft) 2x4's, then have a cookout and invite 7 friends over to eat, drink a few beers, and spend 15 minutes pulling the cap and walking it back to the stand you built. When you're done working on the hull, have another cookout and they can help reinstall it.
