I have been running back and forth from the local sporting goods/hardware store to buy supplies for my evinrude restoration project......<br /><br />Today they were putting out all the outboard accesories, new trolling motors, boats, plastic tanks, and most importantly the marine grease I haven been waiting for. I bought too much. Have enough oil for the whole year, enough lower unit lube for twice the motors I have, and enough grease to fill a few trailers' hubs. NOW I know its really spring

Quick..Send some down here before it goes bad setting on the shelf. Oh and ,make the lower gear lube Hi-Vis.Thanks

LOL ob<br /><br /><br />Its just funny......in a matter of two days 2 4ft sections of shelving with gear lube and oil disappeared. Seems I wasnt the only one waiting for spring to arrive here. Temps should be around 50 this week..............cant wait to start up the motors

All my boats are ready to go, done the try outs already,It is 72* now no breze at all,sun is shining and Im setting in front of this puter listing to som good old country music. I think I need a good shrink <br /> Guess I got to rest up for the next four days at the funny farm. Gotta go to the in-laws, paw in law broke his hip, and is now suffering from sundowners Its bad have to tye him to the bed. fights the nurses and kids, I believe its the worst nightmare I have ever got into. Maby I need to start a thread on dealing with the old folks when they loose thier mind. I shure hop this dont turn out to be permanent.

I hear ya guys. The weather here is nice too, around 60 degrees.<br />All I have to do is replace the thermostat on my o/b and I am ready to go boating. <br />It's about time!!!

Yea I forgot to mention that the wind was kicking up a gale last night, it hit 3 maby 4 mph at times. <br /> I bet thier were a bunch of crappie caught in the last few nights.

Was ice fishing today - going again tomorrow; ice about 12". Soooo, don't need any lower unit lube yet.

Yeah, the color of green is starting to take over my yard. Its funny how the weeds start growing first. Wife doesn't want me to put the boat in this year, says I need to get more done to the house this spring/summer.<br /><br />I told her I need to get the boat in the water so that I can catch my share of the fish before others do. . . . Nope, she didn't believe me for one second. Oh how I'm going to miss those scantly claded women at the marina. <br /><br />

Fish spawn is on. Have mowed the grass twice already was 80 degrees yesterday summer is here LOL
