So what else is new?<br />Bush declared victory a few weeks ago for the consumption of the american public,now El Quaida declares victory for the consumption of the arab public.In both cases the educated independent thinking public knows these are empty words and the uneducated masses buy it wholesale.In the end neither side wins and everything will go back to where it was before the fighting started.

To date reality has defied such logic, the inhabitants of that part of the world are eaten up by centuries prejudices and hatred of their own making, it will most probably take just as long to clear the smoke from their eyes, nevermind their hearts.
