I have a 96 Volvo Penta 5.7 Gi . It has TBI. When I start the boat cold it turns over about 5-8 seconds before it starts. When it starts it runs great. I was just wondering if it should start right away . After it warms up and we've been riding I'll shut it off and we'll anchor for a few hours. When we go to leave it starts right away even though its cooled down. I'm just curious about it. Its really not a problem. I know there are a low and high pressure fuel pumps and was wondering if I should be looking for something or........... just ride and have fun. Again its just curiosity. Thanks
