Is this hull repairable? Help please. PIC HEAVY

Boat was anchored off-shore. Wicked storm came in overnight and beat the stern and rear portion of the keel against rocks causing some pretty crazy damage. Something to note is that most of the damage is accessible from inside the boat as well as the outside.
Basically I need to know if this is repairable and if so can anyone give me a ROUGH estimate of what they think it would cost to have it repaired by a pro. I have fairly decent aptitude and may be tempted to try a repair myself if others think it's repairable. Tell me what you think guys. And thanks in advance for any help you can give. :)

Im not much good at a cost estimate because I do all my own work. But the boat is definitely repairable.

That's a really nice looking boat, repairable, and worth repairing. However, to have a pro do it would probably cost a small fortune. I'd seriously consider DIY. There are plenty of experienced people here to guide you through it.

Hey looks like my repair job I got to do. I would definitely say do it yourself as these other folks have said. Also be prepared for it to take a while to do it. Read these forums here for details on everything to do with fixing fiber glass and you should be good to go.

Oh and welcome to the iBoats forums.

I agree. If you are least bit inclined to work with your hands, DIY it. Cost of repairs will be very high for a pro shop to do it, then you have to worry as to if they actually did it right... DIY it and you will know exactly how it was done...

I really like the hardtop and windshield on this boat. I would fix it whether you do it yourself or have it done. Either way its a nice looking design.

It's hard to tell how large a job you have there.

A fiberglass man I talked to about a year ago charged $75 per hour. He was working on a 12" gash in a hard chine that was an inch or so deep. It wasn't my boat. He billed for 6 hours. $450.

I saw his finished work which was excellent. He had the boat for 2 weeks.

Thanks for all the replies. Just to hear that she's repairable is a relief, as this boat seems to be rare and will get me out later in the season than my bowrider.
I got the boat for free from a family member who was so embarassed by the incident that caused the damage he just parked it in the garage for the last few years. It seems worth the time and money to me to fix it...as it is very light for it's size and should serve as a great three-season runabout. Does anyone on this site own or has owned a 1988 Campion Horizon 180? If so let me know.

P.S. Mods sorry about the pic size

Don't own one but the Campion factory is two minutes down the road. Nice looking boat.

Thanks Tackle, I'm in 100 Mile House myself. I wonder if I mailed Campion if they would send me any info on the boat. Seems very well built and worth repairing.
