I could take more credit if the place where I took the pictures wasn`t an Elk Reserve. That day they were all over the place, there were at least 50 of them everywhere.
I was going to ask if they were on a Elk Reserve.
Big Animals like that when not scared are pretty mellow about men/women getting close and taking pictures. Even out in the wild.
Where is that reserve at LD? I'm over near Astoria today...as I walked over a dune there were at least 15 of 'em staring at me. :^ Even the fireworks and all my drunk friends didn't scare them off.d
This is the best I could manage after finishing most of a keg. I guess alcohol makes the zoom button disappear!:$
All of them laying down there literally just a few feet from a beach full of people with fireworks. I went back up after dark and all I could see were about 20 pairs of eyes looking at me.
