Never seen one either.....was an interesting concept but I have not heard anything good about them....

Well the concept and thought was good BUT then the customer and boat owners was new to the boating, similar to Force outboard as a package with Bayliner boats.
Cheap stepp in boating and no know how in maintenance.
As I am from Sweden and Volvo Penta introduced the Aquamatic in/out drive in mid 60es with a 4-stroke car engine converted to marine use.
It was an success, BUT if the customer do not know about maintenance it would not work.

That motor is a Force adapted to a through hull application.
NOT a good idea at all.
Thay got the nickname Hell Drive. Hard to work on, harder to locate parts and expensive.
The motor itself is the same dependable one we've liked all this time.,

I'm toying with the idea to buy it, not running/comes with a spare engine/ some random parts/wake-tower
The seats are like new/full covers/Bimmi top & floor "supposedly" good
$1,000.- Canadian dollars
Walk away??

What year is the boat? Don't let the cheap price suck you in. If the boat is old, you are likely looking at rot below the floor and in the transom. Not to mention a motor that doesn't work and a questionable drive. If you go for it, do it with eyes open and be prepared to spend thousands more to get in shape for using.

It's a '92
I know the floors in them & I own a '90 bayliner Capri O/B and is waterlogged to a point the the mushrooms are coming through the carpet.
(hence the shopping for a boat)
I was thinking.......... if I can't get the motor going; to strip it from it's existing motor/outdrive & retrofit the rear to hang a 90 Hp Force (have two)
to have a boat for next season.

Yep, that can be done. I did the same a few years ago with my boat. Just realize what you are getting into, its a fair bit of work and money involved, depending on the condition of the transom and other structures. Some people say doing such a refit throws off the balance of the boat with the different weight distribution. I can only speak for myself, and I've had no regrets.

It may in some cases however in this case I doubt it, judging by the bottom-shell
looks the same as the outboard except the cut-out for the out-drive

I can't believe this set-up won awards for innovation.----Simple is best out on the water.-----Put a 40 hp on it if you do not have 115 hp.

FYI guys
A few years ago I parted out a 120Hp L-drive power head that was blown.
It had the Mercury Thunderbolt ignition system (not CDM typ).
The funny thing with this one IT HAD AUTOMATIC OIL INJECTION.
The oil pump was driven from a gear that was integrated in the crank shaft.
The gear was machined to the crank shaft.
I have never seen oil injection on a Force engine.
I bought this one in a package with a 125Hp power head in pieces and a XL midleg with LU.
The pre owner thought they could put the 125Hp power head to the L-drive gear case.
The spline in the crank shaft at the 125Hp did not fit to the L-drive drive shaft!!

When I suggested 115 HP I had no idea that you have a 90 HP in tip top shape ready to bolt on !

Sorry, I thought I mentioned it in previous post but yeah I scored that one a couple years ago for cheap ($250 for two) stripped one & sold off the rest in parts.
The one referring to that is a "spare" had low head pressure on one cylinder, ended up being a blown head-gasket :D
Kept it for the "just incase" my other 90 HP on my existing Bayliner with mushrooms in carpet) was going to blow
