Is there any way to get Full lock to lock steering?

I have a 89 evinrude 60 hp and it really bothers me to not be able to get the full degree of steering with the rotory steering system as I would with tiller steering. This is my first boat with a steering wheel. Is there a commercially available system that will allow this? Its on a toon and I feel that I can use all the steering angle I can get.

The stroke of the cable is 8 1/4" and the swing of the engine at the cable mounting point is 11". Any ideas on how to make that work?
