IS the motor to big for this boat

Here are the pics, I know the motor weight isnt much difference, but will it be to much power, i dont plan on running it wide open on it!

There should be a tag in the boat telling you what it is rated for.

No tag, been lookin on youtube and thereare much smaller boasts with larger engines in proportion to mine

Well,, heres my '55 Admiral with my '64 Merc 1000 ss. (some structural mods to keep it from falling off in the lake) but Id never want a smaller motor. Its just too much fun! Pins you to the seat, and gets on plane instantly. Wouldnt want to loan it to anyone though. Its definitely a handful, but what a blast! Everyone will try and talk you out of it, but with the right reinforcements, rigging, trim, prop, and balance, you will LOVE a big-*** motor! Theres just nothing like it!
