is quicksilver oil silver in color

sorry for the dumb question, but this is my first outboard and there was a little bit of oil still in resevoir and it is burgandy in color. looks like thick trans fluid. i have no ideal the brand. saw the quick silver at walmart. can i just buy it and add it to existing oil if its a diff color?

What make of motor is it?
The Mercury and Evinrude 2 stroke oils are darkish blue or green.
I have seen the red oil but don't remember if it was Yamaha oil or not.
Quicksilver is just a name..the oil is dark greenish color.

You can buy the Walmart brand...it is TCW-3 rated 2 stroke oil..
You can also use the Pennzoil synthetic blend outboard oil...less smoke..

Color makes no difference. I have seen blue, green, red, brown, and yellow. All that really matters is that you buy a TCW-3 2 stroke oil.

The burgandy color is probably Evinrude XD30.
