New to the site and read alot of post about the Tahoe boats. Just found a 06 Q6i 5L 8cyl. 220 Hp at a car dealer he wants $19900 . I found out he got it from a repo down south ,possible a salt water boat. What do you think it is worth? Boat is in awsome shape he says there is 50 miles on it.

Price may be a little high. I bought a used 07 Q6 with the 4.3L last fall for 16,000 from an individual. Looked at several on Ebay for close to the same price... the V8's worth a little more, but 3000? 50 miles or hours? 4 or 5 hours of engine time is a long day so figure its been in the water 10 - 15 times. Includes the trailer?

Sounds high to me. I just bought a 2005 Q6 V8 220HP for $13,500. No salt water and the interior is perfect... I used Craigslist and shopped for about 6 weeks and looked at 3 boats.

Re: Is it worth it ?

There is a dealer here that has 2 Tahoes that were repos from a new boat dealer. They are brand new never titled boats. One is a Q7i with a 350 magnum with a Bravo outdrive on it for $23k, and a Q5 with a 3.0 and alpha for $14k. Both are brand new boats, but I beleive they are 08s. So it sounds like your guy is asking a bit too much for an unknown, possibly salt water, possibly pissed off owner getting it repoed, who knows.

The boat is on craigs list under 2006 tahoe 21' open bow boat. Might be able to get it for $16k what do you think?

Did you use the NADA guide? It still sounds a little high to me. Use the NADA guide and put in the options that the boat has and see what it says for a retail price. This is the value the bank would use for any loan. I would negotiate from there.
