to the out drive if not to the hull.

the motors SBL (probably) refers to are electric motors that attach to lower units

He has a V drive... There are no outdrives, nothing to hang one of those on. Yes, he could do the trim tab trollers, but those are $$$ and without a huge battery bank behind them, you won't get much use out of them anyway.
