Is it made out of fiberglass or what??

I have a 98 Polaris PWC that my 16 year old (brain dead) son knocked a whole in the bottom of. I was wondering what to repair this with. Is it epoxy, poly or what? The hole is big enough to put four fingers in so I would say it is more than a patch. Any ideas on what to use??

It's probably a polyester boat and polyester resin would work fine. But, if in doubt, use epoxy.

By the way, are you having young son do the grunt work of the repair under your friendly eye? I sure would. You can reserect the brain-dead you know, all it talkes is a little friendly teaching.<br /><br />Use epoxy, the fix is easy and if anyone makes any mistakes you can just grind it out and do it over, no big deal.<br /><br />Thom

Thanks... I'll use epoxy. I'm gonna hit em were it really hurts...he's gonna pay me an hourly rate for my repair work and it's not from an allowance! He's got a real job and Friday is payday for him and me! Thanks again.
