Is a 9 Pitch Prop for 15hp Thru Hub 1975 available anywhere?

Where can I get alternate pitch props?
I have a fine 9-1/2" Dia x 10 pitch on my 1975 Johnson 15 hp thru hub and it runs fine. The boat is heavy and I would like to get the RPMs a bit higher, but the next size in the Michigan catalog is 10" dia x 7 pitch (12112). I think this is too big a jump. The boat just makes plane now, so I only need a little more. I think I need to be at higher RPM. I think I would like to have a 9.5 X 9 or 10 X 9. Where can I get one to fit this motor? Is there any way to modify the prop to behave like a 1" lower pitch? I see OMC 0386670 is 9 x 10 and 0387389 is 9.25 x 8. Are these my only other choices?

A really good 4 blade aluminum 10 X 9 was made by OMC Part Number 176266. Great for heavy loads.

a prop shop can repitch that prop as well.

176266 is a 10 X 9 OMC/BRP 4 blade aluminum prop still made and sold and available through any BRP dealership. It is suitable for high thrust applications and for your motor and for any other through hub 15 or 9.9 from 1975 up.

You're right. I just looked that one up on ishopmarine.com and they have it in stock. They also show a list of all the props for that model...more than I expected. Nice range of props with application suggestions there.
