Hi,
I own a 2002 Q3 that I bought new.
The boat had several issues, including dropping a rod through the oil pan, but all was fixed under warranty and it has run well for the past three seasons.
We travel up and down the Kanawha River and the Ohio River.
I have all the original manuals for the boat and trailer. The trailer manual doesn't seem to have much information in it concerning maintenance or specifications. I do need to replace the carpet on the insides of the wheel wells, and figure I should do the skds at the same time.
Winter sneaked up on me this year, and the economy being what it is, all I managed to do for winterization was drain the water and pour in a bunch of RV antifreeze. I didn't even get to pull the cushions out. Anyway, I'm hoping the winter hasn't been too hard on it and perhaps I'll get to do some maintenance in the next week or two in order to start prepping for the season.
I've got a few questions, and hope to optimize the trailer and boat to maximize their useful lives, but that's for other threads.
I'm looking forward to reading through all the posts on here and picking everybody's brains.

Re: Introduction

I hope you don't have any problems from with water in your block as a resault from not running it. And fuel issues from not stabilizing the fuel and then running it as well.

There is no set time to replace the carpet, if it is worn or teared then replace. The wheel well carpets on my trailer don't get that much abuse.
