What is the breaker point gap ?------Is the stop button in place and working properly ?.-----I believe the stop circuit is " open " to stop spark on those.

Hello all I now have spark in my 1973 model 40 4hp turns out it was the spark wire connections . Enough spark to sit a 240# man down . So now compression is good. spark hurts like hell. Thank you experts for all your input. case closed .
