Need help with my 1971 85 hp Chrysler Outboard. Last year I replaced
both the starter selenoid and starter. Then paid a mechanic to replace
the CD unit. Ran great 3 times out at the end of last season. This season 3rd time
out the motor was either not starting (took 25 cranks to start), then would
start right up. Go her home and then would not start. I thought it was a
fuel delivery issue. I replaced all fuel lines and bulb from tank to the 3
carbs. Rebuilt the fuel pump (gasket and diaphragm) and rebuilt all 3 carbs. Engine
started up and ran like it was missing a cylinder. Now it won't start at all. Some backfiring.
Checked compression. 120psi on all 3 cylinders. What should I check next?
Thank you!

The mechanic who replaced the cd unit replaced the plugs. They are barely used. Maybe I should take the motor back to the mechanic and have them test the cd unit? Forgot to mention it has a points distributor.
Thank you for helping me out!
