feel your coil when your experiencing the to see if its going into hydrogen bomb mode. check to see if its right coil/resistor setup.

PN I am going out tomorrow evening and will check the coil. If it is so to speak in hydrogen bomb mode what will I notice, a vibration of some sort?

Just wanted to give everyone a thanks. I didn't get to resolve my low RPM issue this year as I didn't get to boat much the second half of summer due to the colder then normal northeast Ohio weather and time. I will attempt to resolve early next year again thanks for all for the idea's.
