installing fishfinder on tahoe 195 I/O

hello everyone. I am brand new to this forum, and to the boating world. I wish to install a fishfinder on my 2008 Tahoe 195I/O. I was wondering if any one out here has tackled this project? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

i put one on my 06 195. i used a ram mount just front and right of windshield. just enough of a flat spot for the base of the mount. it raises it high enough that i can see it over windshield and turn it so that i can see it while up front fishing.

I ended up mounting a Lowrance M68C because i did not have to do any wiring. My 2008 Tahoe 216 came with an in-dash Lowrance LST-3800, so I just unplugged it, changed the fuse and plugged it in to the new one. They use the same transducer.
