the floor was getting bad in my boat so I currently have the floor ripped out (16' aluminum) I really wanted to install an underfloor tank but I only have 5" of room between the floor and the hull and I can't find one that will fit a semi V like mine thats only 5" tall.
I have a storage area up front that I could mount a 12 gallon tank it (plenty of gas for my needs) but I'm worried about how having 85# more weight on the nose will effect planning speed. It would be installed directly in front of my live well which when full of water gave me huge problem trying to plane out with 3 people on board and my old 55hp on the back. I've now installed a 70hp Johnzuki on the back.
