look at all the forum and found some to help but wasn,t sure if it might mess up something electrical. I have an 1987 mariner 45hp electric start and would appriciate any help with this matter.
Your control box should have a connector in the front that you can either buy a harness for to connect to your new tach, or you can do what I did and crimp little female end plugs onto a set of wires and plug them into the purple, gray and black pins on the connector on the control box. easy and cheap.
