Just bought a used 2019 Sylvan 85,22 pontoon boat. The past owners had messed up the Bimini top, including bending the tubing lol! What I am looking for is a lot of different information, such as best place to get a family top for the front and the rear, it has 150 hp Yamaha does anybody know how fast this boat should go? And trying to find a good boat cover as we keep it in the water in Lake Havasu and even though it’s dry as hell in the summer it rains in the winter so looking for something with polls . Also, wondering if there is a way to speed it up it does have three tubes on it. Was hoping somebody would have some type of a heart breakdown. They’re also two Instrument lights that are burnt out that can’t be seen at night in the dark, so I was wondering if anybody knows what bulb it is, it is blue though. Also, any thoughts on the Yamaha F150 LB engine?
I’m looking to see if I can get a picture of how a dual battery set up would work with us. It only has a single battery and everything else I’ve owned in the past has dual battery batteries I wanted to see where the factory mounts the dual batteries switch and put The batteries.
Thx

https://pontoonboattops.com/ has bimini frames. With a 150 you should go around 30. You can use your phone and mph app to see how fast it goes. To speed it up make sure toons do not have water in them. Bigger motor. Check the gauge manufacturer and check their site for bulbs. I use a separate house and starting batteries. House for stereo and fish finder starter for everything else. Some people use Blue Sea add a battery to automatically switch and charge: https://www.bluesea.com/products/7650/Add-A-Battery_Kit_-_120A

I have an '06 24', twin 25" tubes, 115 hp merc. CT., suncruiser pontoon.
so:
with just me on board I get around 26 mph, pushing a little over 6000rpm on a chilly, cold water early spring day.
More speed needs more hp, but...
There is a placard on the boat that states max hp. I did not exceed that with my new 115, and suggest the same for anyone else. Furthermore, just fyi, I went from a 60hp to the 115 but gained only 5-6 +/- mph....and using a lot more fuel....but glad I did, more tubing pull torque.
I have a double bimini top that I can still get from Dowco who was the original supplier for my Lowe Suncruiser, even though mine is an '06. I would think you could still get replacement parts for yours from the manufacturer.
I'm actually dealing with RNR-marine right now with enclosure panels as they say they can still get me those. They also claim they have oem tubing.
My boat came with a dowco cover, snaps around the side, center poles. It gave up the ghost last year. Once again, Dowco still makes that cover except that I/someone would have to install the snaps to match the ones on the boat.
I elected to have a custom cover made for certain reasons, but it cost me double. But i had reasons....
Once again, contacting your manufacturer might work. However if your boat did not come with a snap on cover, that could be problematic as all the covers I looked at required straps to go under the toons. Obviously not gonna work at the slip.

More details and pics of your boat may help.
heres mine.
