Info on a 14-16 foot Hardtop Aluminum Boat

I am looking for a new 14-16 foot aluminum boat for a very small pond. This boat would have a hard top and be powered by a 5 hp or a 9.9 hp engine. I am not looking for a fast boat but something to putter along and protect me from the elements in our harsh climate. I am not interested in a soft top or a boat with a canopy. Silver Streak Boats offers a 17 footer but it is a little large and too powerful for my small pond. Does anyone know of any manufacturer who makes such a boat? I would prefer a stock boat but a plan I could have manufactured would also be an option. If it was to be a custom build, I would like to hear someone's experience with that design. A picture would be nice. Thanks.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... That's an awfully tiny boat for a Hardtop, as yer findin' out,...

I donno's I've ever seen a Hardtop that small,...

Buy a 16 ft. pontoon and add a hard top. They make them for any size pontoon.

i'm with bondo, i can't think that i've ever heard of a small aluminum boat w/hardtop either. specially if your looking for something like the silver streak. real (well, three sided anyways) all weather protection. hope ya find what your looking for as i can really understand your want. google aristocraft nineteen boats and you'll see why i agree with the want. i don't know what my next boat will be, as i love my sliding hardtop boat.

I thought so too, but he/she said "harsh climate" Think Alaska. Probably means something like this, but a foot smaller.

Not cost effective to fabricate a top like this for a 16 foot boat IMO.

can't see a 9.9 much less a 5 pushing a boat like that, either, and it would be dangerous to try in "harsh conditions."
