Info needed for Evinrude outboard

I recently aquired a late model Evinrude - Super Fastwin, the Serial # 15012-30400 and I believe it was made in the early 50's. I would like to know the correct year and horsepower and a place I could get a service manual and parts.

Welcome to iboats.

1953 or 54 15Hp. Have a look at the right side of this page and you'll see what's available. ( No guarantee, but I think 1956 parts work. That's as far back as they go. )

does anyone know what the oil to gas mixture would be

24:1. I qt to 6 gallons. I pint to 3. Use oil marked TC-W3 and regular unleaded. Avoid alcohol blend if you can. Otherwise, expect some parts replacement down the road, such as carburetor float and fuel tank pressurizing valve.

i've had 2 of those engines. almost unkillable, parts are available at laingsoutboards.com good people to work with. if part is not online call them.
