I have 2 questions about my boat.

My first question is can anybody help me determine the model of my boat? It is a 1989 21' Sleekcraft open bow, it has a semi-V tunnel hull with a 350 Mag and alpha 1 drive, the numbers on the hull are as follows; SLED3114J889 PAT NO 244841. If anyone can help me figure out the model it would be appreciated.

My second question is performance related. Under perfect conditions my top speed is 52.8 MPH (GPS), thats with a 23P Quick Silver Mirage prop with the engine @ 3900 - 4100 RPM, the drive trimmed up as far as possible, both fuel tanks are about 1/3 full and a driver with 1 passenger onboard. My question is regarding the stern drive height. It seems low to me since the prop shaft is 10" below the keel. The reason I question this is once on a plane the more I trim the drive up the faster the boat goes and the prop never seems to cavitate (even when the prop is trimmed well beyond the trim switch limit) but the ride gets choppy with the nose up that high. Is it possible the drive unit replaced with a longer unit? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
