Re: inflatable catamaran

they go very well, best would be to either get a 50hp yamaha 2-stroke or tohatsu 50hp 2-stroke ....

Re: inflatable catamaran

Because these are the motors that we race with, it is the only 2 motors you can get the most performance out of, they are the lightest and last the longest .... I recommend you get a yamaha though as the tohatsu needs to get the engine mounts replaced, where the yamaha's is strong enough as is ...

Re: inflatable catamaran

dude
i got a 430 cm but because I didnt know I got it without the wash thru transom
and it quickly fills up with water.

only has 2 regular drain holes with checkvalve

and wooden transom, how do I corrrect?

also between the motor and the transom, I have water gushing in through that gap.

and the spray from the front is a lot (but I expected that) besides that the handling is awsem. I love how it planes and turns. I tested it in flat waters. Im still getting used to how drastic the manouvers are in that type boat.

maybe tomorow I go to the surf! what do you think ? tips?!

what should I do with what i tell you here?????

Re: inflatable catamaran

Hahahaha, yeah i can see how it is a problem if you do not have the wash through transom like I do ... I would suggest just buying a proper one like I have hahaha ..... Tips when doing surf, always go head on into the wave, never take them on at an angle, that includes going over them from the back .......

Re: inflatable catamaran

15 p ? 15 pitch?
for a 430 with a 40 hp?

what is machining the prop for no cavitation?

what is steering aid?

Re: inflatable catamaran

15 pitch yes .... the prop will always cavitation on pullaway because the boat jumps so quick on plain, it is the initial top end setup you need to worry about .... steering aid? you mean a steering dampener?
