Incredible Light Show

I've lived in AZ for 10 years now.

We had a thunderstorm, tonight, like I've never seen before. Even in the Southeast and Midwest.

The lightening was so intense the sky was just a dull roar. I originally thought that I was hearing a big jet. Nope, just so much lightening that it created a 30 minute "roar", in the sky.

Truly incredible. Nature can be intense.

wow....i love a great electrical storm......

i used to watch them from victoria canada, over the mountains across the juan de fuca straight at port angles usa......

fantastic to watch.....just dont get too close....just make sure whoever is watching it with you ....... is taller than you....

Tunr off the MAIN circuit breaker to your house and enjoy the show.

I read somewhere that the odds of being hit by lightening are just slighly better than hitting Powerball!

I am jealous of you DJ. Here where I live in VT there are mountains everywhere that block those great views.

This summer in massachusettes we've had some storms that i've only seen in florida. and florida is the lightning capital of the world...
Take that global warming!!

We get some killer thunder storms here as well..........................lightening can be intense and go on for a while............................he11 of a show after dark.........

I?ve got you beat by a couple years there ? been in Arizona 28 yrs and it has been a long time since we?ve seen anything quite like this. The lightning in the east valley reflecting off the clouds made me think of nighttime bombings in war movies.

Any chance that the threat of storms will keep the drunken idiots to a minimum on Pleasant or Bartlett this weekend?

... heard that DJ. we were at the Metal Heads "outdoor concert" of Heaven N Hell and Judas Priest. Afterwards, we couldnt believe all the damage to such a large area. The drive home was a series of going around trees, no traffic lights, blackouts of entire blocks, busted windows on high rises, home roofs down, cars crushed by power poles, signs, trees. I think it was stronger than the storm of 95'.

It sounds like its thundering here......but its not the weather. Its the HD 105th this weekend here......I have never seen so many motorcycles.
