Incessant beeping

I have read plenty of threads regarding Mercury alarm beeping and wish here to add
to the mystery. I get a nonstop beep beep beep. I have no signs of overheating or lack
of oil in my injection system.
My Lowrance display shows that I am only producing 11.8 volts on my 2 battery system
with the Perko set to ALL.
Can this cause alarm woes?

Don't know your engine. Recent Mercs use a dual alarm system. They have a thermal switch in the rear of the block monitoring water temp. If it reaches 190+ F, the switch shorts out to ground and this turns the alarm on a solid blast. The other sensor is the oil sensor. There is a magnet in the oil tank that, if the oil level gets low causes the oil warning switch to close, shorting to ground. This ground goes to the electronics control box and causes a modulated ground to be sent to the horn. This is a continuous on-off-on-off which distinguishes it from the over temp. If you have the latter, your magnet inside your tank could have fallen out of position.

What motor? S/N?

The oil level sensor float in the direct inject system can go bad and cause a beep like you describe. Try disconnecting that and see if t stops the beep.

S?/N A013xxx so it is a XR2 150hp Black Max 1985. I will check out that sensor and plan eventually to go to premix.
