Have a pontoon boat but will need to leave it in the water over the winter. Live in Georgia, so not crazy cold, but still freezing temperatures. What do I need to do?

If there is power at your dock then those " ice eaters " will work.----Can be switched on should ice start to form.-----Folks use them all the time in much colder climates.-----Or compressed air bubblers work too.-----The warm water is at the bottom and these items bring warm water to the surface.

I'm in SC and leave mine in the water every winter. I crank it up every couple of weeks and if the water isn't too low take it for a drive.

Many boats in Ontario stay in the water all winter.------But you have to make sure that the ice eaters / bubbler are checked on a regular basis.-----Or equip these things with alarms.
